In Chapter 4 you'll learn about something that the wealthy people know and use to make much more money than the people who don't know this financial fact of life. But first, let's look at how the Just-2 Plan can make money for YOU - up to $40,000 per year** or more.

What "Just-2" Will Do For You

There are basically two ways to earn a part-time income from home with the Affinity Just-2 Plan...

(1) Refer new customers who use the products and keep buying them again and again.

(2) Refer new associates who use the products and keep recommending them to new customers.

You might be thinking that this might not be easy to do for someone who is a little shy about talking to people, or who thinks he is not very good at explaining how a product could help someone. But you may not have realized that there are several different ways to refer customers that don't involve any person-to-person contact.

Here are a few ways that work very well for some of the Affinity associates:
(1) posting flyers and business cards on bulletin boards or leaving them on counters or tables,
(2) placing classified ads in newspapers or magazines,
(3) mailing or distributing a CD (compact disc) about the best-selling products,
(4) participating in co-op advertising projects,
(5) using the Internet - search engine listings, pay-per-click listings, ads on web sites. (Affinity supplies you with over 20 ready-made professional web sites that explain each product and its benefits, and take credit card orders on-line.)

(6) advertising on radio - this is a costly and "risky" way to find a lot of new customers, but is usually something the average person cannot afford to do. However, Affinity has a plan which is affordable to many of its associates, and which takes the "risk" out of radio advertising.

Affinity has created a 25-minute radio "infomercial" for a few of its best-selling products and is offering a "co-op" advertising plan to its active associates that provides them with new customers who have already purchased the products once before - and guarantees in a written contract that if they do not earn extra income equal to the amount of money they have paid into the co-op plan, then the Company will write them a check to make up the difference!

Affinity is the first and only company to offer such a co-op advertising plan to its associates along with a written GUARANTEE. This is the perfect way to build a business for those who have limited time to work their Affinity business, but do have some money to pay for advertising to grow their business.

The Company handles everything for you, from creating the infomercial-style ads to running them on radio stations across the U.S.A. Then, as people respond to the ads and place their orders through a call center with an 800 number and pay by credit card, the Company ships the products and assigns your share of the new customers to you (in proportion to the amount of money you put into the co-op advertising pool).

Some of these customers consent to an "auto ship" where they will automatically be shipped the same products every month or two months, and you earn commissions on each of those subsequent sales to your assigned customers. Or if one of your assigned customers contacts Affinity to order more products, you automatically earn a commission on whatever they buy - even if you didn't speak to the customer yourself!

In effect, participating in the "radio co-op" is a way to simply "buy" new customers without having to spend any time trying to find them or telling them about the products. It's all done for you when you purchase a share in the co-op. The people who are assigned to you are people who have already been educated about the product by listening to a long infomercial, and who have already bought the product and used the product. Most of them will like the product and be ready to order more when their original purchase is used up, since all the Affinity products are "consumable" and generally are ordered again and again, month after month.

So your "radio co-op" customers are going to be people who already like the product and would likely continue to re-order the product again and again - and you would earn a 20% commission on every new order for as long as they continue to use the product. Since each product costs about US $50, each of those repeat customers can earn you about $10 to $25 per month. For example, if you were to acquire 100 new customers who each ordered $150 worth of products per month (3 products), then your income could be $3,000 per month (100 x $150 = $15,000 and 20% of $15,000 is $3,000).

And don't forget that the people who use the products will often refer their own friends or family members to YOU just because they like what the products have done to help them. Some people do it just because they like to help others, and aren't looking to earn money or have a business of their own. Others might be looking for a way to earn extra income, and might ask you how they could earn money doing the same thing you are doing.

If you are really serious about building a large business with a large income, then it would pay you to phone or write to your radio co-op customers and encourage them to keep ordering the product - and tell them about some of the OTHER Affinity products too! If they liked the first product they tried, it will be easy to interest them in looking at some of the other Affinity health and weight-loss products that could help them in other ways.

So what does that "Just-2" stand for?

It means that if you can find "Just 2" people who want to refer new customers and associates just like you, your Affinity business could take off and grow on its own, building you a large team and earning you a large monthly income.

The Affinity "Just-2" plan is an amazing opportunity to earn money in your spare time by starting small and then growing larger and larger. It's a simple plan that almost anyone can do, and can afford to start with a very small investment of time and money. In fact, it was designed to be "do-able" and affordable for the average person who doesn't have the time or money to start most other kinds of small businesses - yet it has the potential to produce an income of US $40,000 per year or more for someone who works at it part-time while still working full-time at his job or other business.

And perhaps the best part is that "You are in business FOR yourself, but not BY yourself". You will have more experienced people to help you get started, and then soon you will be working with others to help them get started.

If "just 2" people you introduce to the Just 2 Plan will refer two others, because you showed them how to do what you do, when they start to show THEIR "just 2" people how to do what they do then your team will start to grow larger and larger as each associate refers his or her "just 2" new people - and also uses the products and refers them to new customers.

If you were to refer just 2 people, who each referred just 2 more, who each referred just 2 more, who each referred just 2 more, then you would soon have a team of 30 associates working to build your team. Even if they only used the 3 products per month that is the minimum requirement (and about the only cost of being in this business), then you would earn referral commissions totalling US $198 per month**, every month.

And it all starts with just referring "just 2" new associates and showing them how to do what you do. (That is the minimum you could earn each month from a team of 30 associates, but if all of them referred new customers that month you could earn much more.)

In addition to that ongoing $198 per month income, you would have earned $160 in bonuses for referring those "Just 2" new associates that month, which could cover your initial $100 investment in the products you use yourself and earn you a profit of $60 that month. (On June 01, 2006, Affinity doubled the one-time Fast Start Bonus from $40 to $80. Out of the $100 a new associate pays for his or her first 3 products, you earn $80!)

That $198 per month is a nice little part-time income. It may not sound like much in dollars, but since it would be a CONTINUING monthly income, over and above what you are already earning, it could finance a better home or apartment, or make the payments on a new car.

It's like earning almost $200 per month in "overtime pay" - but instead of having to pay tax on it at a higher rate, it qualifies you to claim certain tax deductions because it is classed as "self employment income".

And $198 per month** would be equal to $2,376 per year. What would you be able to do with a raise in pay of nearly $2,400 per year?

But that $198 per month** is only a start. Within 12 months, the Affinity Just-2 plan had dramatically changed my own lifestyle by more than doubling my previous monthly income. By that time I was earning US $5,000 per month, part-time, from my Affinity "Just-2" plan. I am not saying you could do as well as I did after 12 months, but you might do even better. Imagine what YOU could do with an "extra" $5,000 per month!

How To Earn $40,000 Plus Per Year - Part-Time!

Let's look at what happens if EACH of the last 16 people who came into your team go on to refer just 2 new associates, and that same cycle continues three more times - just as it did with you. You did this, and so can they.

Each of them would end up with 30 associates on their own team, and earn the same $198 per month** minimum, just as you did. This might happen without any further effort on your part, simply because each person is motivated to refer at least 2 new associates themselves and start building their own team. And their teams are also part of YOUR team.

You would then have 510 associates on your team - your original 30, plus 16x30 or 480 more. If these people only used their 3 products per month, then you would be earning an income of $3,366 per month** from the basic commissions and bonuses you receive for starting that team of 510 people.

If any or all of them referred new customers who purchased products, your income could be much more than the above figure, which was only based on the 510 associates buying their minimum of 3 products per month to remain qualified as an Affinity associate.

With a group of 510 associates on your team, you would have made a valuable contribution to the Company's growth by building this large team of people who are now using the life-changing Affinity products and referring them to others, and you would be rewarded with this big income for your big contribution to the growth of the Company.

When 510 people are using 3 products per month for $100 (the wholesale price), there are $51,000 worth of products being bought each month. And that's not even counting what they might have sold to their own customers. Your $3,366 monthly income** in this example would be well-earned, because your "little" home business would be doing $612,000 per year in sales!

That would be a business with annual sales of over half a million dollars. And you could be doing this in your spare time, without a store or office or employees to pay for! You may not even know most of those 510 people, because they were referred by other members of your team - but they would all be contributing to the income you would be earning from Affinity for building a large organization of Affinity associates.

Now that is the theoretical income you could earn even if NOBODY referred any new customers to buy the products! It is just from your own team of associates using the products themselves so they can honestly recommend them to others.

Of course, many of these people WILL use the products and then recommend them to others. When you or any of your associates do that, then you or they will earn about $10 to $25 per product purchased by a customer, depending on how the associate promotes the products and delivers the products.

For example, any products ordered from your free Affinity web site stores earn you a 20% commission on the full price paid by the customer (excluding any shipping fees or taxes). Many companies only pay you a commission on some "commissionable volume" which is less than the price of the product, but Affinity pays you commission on the FULL price the customer pays. This not only gives you more income, but also keeps the calculations a lot simpler!

When the people on your team recommend products to other people who buy them, then your income in the previous example would increase in proportion to the amount of products being bought by the customers of your team members.

For example, if each and every one of those 510 people in your group were to have one to two customers who bought a total of $100 worth of products per month (at about $50 per product), while your team members were using 3 products per month themselves, then that extra $100 per month in retail sales volume per team member would DOUBLE the income shown in the previous example**.

It is not unusual for an Affinity customer to purchase $100 per month of products for his or her family. Each item retails for US $49.95 (the price was increased on May 1, 2006). On retail sales made through their Affinity web sites and shipped directly to the customers by the Company, 50% of the purchase price is counted as "commissionable volume", because the Company pays the cost of credit card processing, shipping and handling for them. The associate who actually makes the sale to a customer through his web site store still earns the full 20% commission, or about $10 on a $49.95 sale - while you earn your referral commission on 50% of that $49.95 sale, and on 50% of your team members' total web site sales for the month.

But if your associates order and pay for additional products at wholesale price from Affinity - so they can deliver them to their customers themselves and earn an even larger profit (they can buy a case of 12 for $300 wholesale, which is $25 per unit, and then sell each of those 12 products for $49.95, earning a profit of $24.95 instead of just a $10 commission) - then 100% of those wholesale sales to your team members (excluding any shipping fees or taxes) is counted as commissionable volume for you. You earn your referral commission on 100% of your team members' wholesale sales.

Then if each of those team members built up a group of customers who were ordering a total of just $200 per month in commissionable volume, then your theoretical income would be about three times the original example of $3,366 per month**. As before, the amount of sales which produced that commissionable volume (CV) would depend on whether your team members made retail sales (50% counts as CV) through their web site stores, or whether Affinity made wholesale sales (100% counts as CV) to your team members who distributed the products to their own customers at the retail price of $49.95 and earned a profit on each sale.

Just how much is that commission you would receive on the total commissionable sales of your team members? It would be from 2% to 10%, depending on where each associate is located in your team - but on average it would come to about $6.60 for each $100 of commissionable volume produced by every team member. As you can see in the previous example, 510 team members ordering $100 per month would produce a commissionable volume of $51,000, and the $3,366 income is equal to 6.6 percent of that $51,000.

Can you see how the number of customers could increase over time for each of your active team members, and how your total monthly income could increase in proportion to the total monthly purchases made by the customers of your team members? There is no limit to the amount of commission income you could make on purchases by your own increasing customer base, or on the purchases by the customers of your team members who are no more than 8 levels below you (you could have up to 510 team members, all within 8 levels of your position, and even more if certain conditions are met).

If 510 people on your team are each using $100 worth of products per month themselves and also have customers using a total of $200 per month, then your "little" home business would actually be a business with monthly sales of $153,000 per month! That example of $200 per month in sales to the customers of your average team member is a fairly low estimate - it would mean only 2 customers purchasing $100 per month, or 4 customers purchasing $50 per month. My own retail sales to customers who purchase from my Affinity web site stores has been as high as $50,000 per month. Some associates will only have a few customers, while others like me could have thousands of customers within a year or two.

And it all starts with you purchasing your 3 products for $100 per month and finding two people who would do what you are doing.

Do you see the amazing "leverage" in this business and the rapid growth potential - how it could grow from a little part-time home business into a large home business doing over half a million dollars in annual sales?

And once you get your business growing, it can keep growing on its own, since the people you showed the business to will be showing others the business, and so on down the line. You do not get paid on the sales volume of team members more than eight levels below your position, but there are other bonuses payable when you bring in even more new members over time (more than your original "Just 2") and they start building their own teams. We will discuss those "bonus pools" later on - for they have the potential to earn you MUCH MORE than the income we have discussed so far.

If you have ever considered starting a little business of your own, you probably realized how much money it takes just to get started. Just to rent and stock a tiny store with an inventory of products could cost you thousands of dollars, and you don't really make any profit until your sales are greater than the cost of the inventory plus all your expenses.

With the Affinity "Just-2" plan it only costs you $15 to start your business, plus you need to purchase $100 worth of products as your initial "inventory" or "samples". You don't need a store, a cash register, a sales clerk, or any of the things you would need to start a typical business - you'll get more than 20 web site "stores" operating as soon as you invest your initial $15 start-up fee plus $100 for the 3 products you are going to use yourself.

With those Internet "stores" you don't need to stock any inventory, you don't need any sales clerks or cash registers or credit card machines, and you don't even pay any "rent" because you get them for free as long as you order those 3 products per month. And those stores are open 24 hours per day, 7 days a week, and attract customers from all over the world, not just from your home town.

All you need to do is get people to visit your store. Affinity takes care of almost everything else - stocking the products, taking the orders, collecting the money, and shipping the products - and then mails you a check on the 15th of each month.

You know what I really love about my Affinity business? Those web site stores earn money even while I am asleep. And I can be out of town on a vacation, and those web site stores still keep taking orders and earning income for me. This past year, I was actually out of my country (Canada) for 3 months out of 12, and I was able to keep my Affinity business earning money for me just by taking my laptop computer and a cell phone with me. Most of the time I was on a kind of "working vacation" in some popular vacation spots like Palm Beach FL, Las Vegas NV, and Sedona AZ, but since I was also doing some business, I could write off the cost of those trips as a business expense.

The other thing I love most about my Affinity business is that what I do really "makes a difference" in the world, by helping people in ways that improve or enhance their lives. You can't help but feel good when a customer tells you how one of your products has helped them lose weight, feel more energy, get relief from chronic pain, or greatly improve their health and well-being. It must be how a doctor feels when he helps a patient - but I don't have to be a doctor or prescribe drugs to help people feel better. I just show these products to people they could help.

We are very proud of our Affinity natural health products. They offer people a way to prevent or relieve needless suffering, a way to live life with more energy and vitality, and a way to live a longer life in better health. Some of our products have enabled some users to reduce their prescription drugs and avoid the unpleasant or even dangerous "side effects" that often accompany the use of pharmaceutical drugs.

We think that offering the valuable benefits of these life-changing health products to people is a worthwhile way to earn a living. You may not be a doctor or a health care practitioner, but what you do has the potential to do a lot of good for many people when you introduce them to the products that can relieve their suffering or extend their lives.

And as you "spread the word" and introduce more and more people to these health products, and build a large team of people doing the same, you can have the satisfaction of knowing that what you have started and worked for will be making a real and important difference in the lives of many people.
