You don't have to "sell" people, just "tell" people. And you don't have to get them to "buy" products, just "try" products.
The guarantee period starts on the day they RECEIVE the product and ends 30 days later.
If you wanted to refer a lot of new customers and provide them with products yourself rather than have your Internet stores sell products for you (or do both), then you can order a case of 12 products (any mix of products) for US $300 and have them shipped to you for free in the lower 48 states of the USA. That would let you earn a profit of about $25 per product if you provide them to your local customers for $49.95 per unit (Affinity increased retail prices on May 1, 2006).
Note that shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, Canada or other countries by U.S. Parcel Post is at extra cost (which depends on destination and shipping weight).
You can sell the products for any price you want, but you cannot publicly advertise any of the Affinity products for LESS than the regular retail price. You cannot sell them on eBay or auction sites if the selling price is LESS than the regular retail price. Your distributorship agreement may be terminated if you violate this rule.
Some associates are moving thousands of dollars worth of products per month** by using traditional marketing methods, by stocking and shipping the products themselves, and advertising to find new customers. Some are just using the Internet to move thousands of dollars of product per month**, and have Affinity handle the orders and ship the products for them - even around the world.
If you and/or your Internet stores are selling more than the $100 or $300 you must order each month to meet your "auto ship" requirement as an Associate, then you can suspend your auto ship temporarily as long as your monthly "commissionable" sales volume remains higher than that amount, and still remain qualified as an associate eligible to receive commissions on the sales by people in your team.
Note that sales made through your Internet stores (called "retail sales") have a "commissionable volume" (CV) of 50% of the selling price, excluding shipping or taxes. So to qualify with $100 in commissionable volume when all your sales are through your Internet stores, you would need to sell $200.00 or more per month. To qualify for $300 CV you would have to sell $600.00 or more per month.
If you have a $300 plan and you don't want to continue receiving a case per month, you have the option to "downgrade" to the $100 plan (but you cannot "upgrade" from a $100 plan to a $300 plan at any time, so this downgrade would be permanent).
So there you have the basics of the Affinity Just-2 Plan. There are more ways to earn some very large incomes, which will be discussed later on, but when you get right down to it there are "just 2" things which will make you successful in this referral marketing business. The level of income that can be earned depends mainly on "how much" and "how often" you do these two things.
